Felipe massa negotiating the tracks at anderson bridge...but too bad he couldnt deliver the goods.
The 1st ever Singtel Singapore Grand Prix

Well well...what an exciting weekend for both F1 enthusiasts and the local Singaporean! The 1st ever night race ever held in Formula 1 turns out to be a success!!! And the number of crashes I predicted was still a bit off the mark!!=P An astonishing finish for Fernando Alonso, coming back from the dead at pole 15 to win the race was by no means a miracle and a huge stroke of luck. Who would have thought that Piquet Jr would had crashed at the straight lane of the floating platform(though i was predicting that would be one of the crash sites earlier=P)...and once the safety car was out...history was changed. And at this year F1 grand prix, there were numerous mistakes by the mechanic teams, no less shocking would be seeing Felipe Massa driving his red ferrari off with the fuel pipe still intact and an unfortunate mechanic flying in the air...woah!...take took precious time off plus a 10 second penalty...he must be wondering which gods he had been offending man...suay to the max. Actually this race could be say as there for his taking by getting pole position in the qualifying rounds as the Marina Bay circuit is definitely one place extremely difficult to find places to overtake, but the surprises that heppened on sunday was definitely the changing point. The Ferraris were totally owned by the track man!...Well it has been no doubt an enjoyable race! And it would be up to Singapore to live up to its high standards that it has set itself in her inaugural Singapore F1 debut.

What I had also noticed was that the commentary were full of praise for our beloved city skyline that seems to blend the lighted tracks to it. Commentators were complimenting us like for the past 3 days and you know what its absolutely alright. Epic shots were like F1 cars driving under Benjamin Sheares bridge with citizen's cars on the way home...cool! Oh and there were scenes of the cars travelling along the padang there and the CBD at the background!!Sweet!!

Watched the race with the bball gang and in a way to celebrate Ben Song 's last 10 days of freedom before he goes into Army=P...haha but apparently only jon tan and me were the more enthu. about the sport with me explaining on most questions fielded by MJ as well. haha...Oh and many thanks for januari for calling me in the middle of dinner to let me hear the sounds of the F1 cars zooming past her at turn 1!!It was deafening sia, but cool to the max..hehe so a big thank u!=)...Oh oh and did I mention that I meant some of the drivers at the paddock area where I was doing my SS on thurs night and fri. wee early morning...haha cool as kimi=P

Personal Space

This is something that I had always known to be a problem but I never really addressed the issue till the past few days. U see. There had been a problem with me at times, alright I meant frequently=P. Its the feeling of emptiness and not knowing what the f*** am I doing on this planet. lol..forgive me for the vulgarities, still haven completed my CCC( Civilian Conversion Course) yet...haha. A good friend of mine, He once told me about the lack of personal space that NS can cause you to feel, and hence caused weird or illogical behaviour of NS guys to certain things. Of course, I am not only limiting this problem to NS only but even to everyone out there.

Have you ever feel lost? Have you ever felt that there is special something or piece that is missing from your life at this very moment? Have you ever question yourself ' Is this the kind of life I want?'

Well, I am sure that there are times that many of us have definitely felt it at some point of our life. If you haven't, then in time you might...lol...or might not =P. Recently, like I had pointed out to my friends through out this year was that I am easily agitated and stuff. Well one thing that I had sorted of is that there is a lack of personal space in my life. In that sense, it's caused by both me and NS in particular. With NS , I am always stuck in the confines of a camp and its regulations and rules. After booking out, my subconscious mind is very annoyed at decisions which seems to be out of control or people who are trying to control the freedom of my time and all. So I also used lots of other 'drugs' like anime, going out, forcing myself to study, so to numb this feeling of lacking the personal space in my life.

I had always been searching for the answer to it. Is it a girlfriend? Is it $$? Is it the feeling of studying? Is it...Is it...lots more. Recently, I started just picking up books and started reading just as once before in my early stages of life. I started to enjoy it and now thirst for more readings out there. Its as if books can provide me an avenue of escapism out of the harsh realities of life and all...it can bring me to places never before...it can challenge my perspectives, my mindset, my logics and so much more. Then, writing. Penning my thoughts and all onto the piece of paper, it sorted my feelings, gives me a cleared picture and let me understand the situations. U know..it all seems so...calm...so peaceful all of a sudden, even I shudder at this kind of calmness!! Now, just as was I 8 years ago, that I want to put my thoughts into words and that it shall be metaphorized with nature...it feels good. Haha..lo and behold...after 4 years of bumming around, 4 years of crashing around, 4 years of not being in contact with my soul...this is the kind of 'therapy' that I needs and the strange thing is that I had been doing it until sec 2 but I stopped. Kimochi!!!=D

The cold wind blowing against my face, as I acknowledge the coldness touches my skin, my soul is cleanse. The heart finds calm and peace with the clear blue sky above me. Well today at 6.38pm of Friday 26th September 2008, the sky seems at a light blue, with streaks of clouds borne by the wind stretches across the sky. The darkening along the horizon of the flats signals the ending of another day and soon we all would be asleep and the next day will come along.=)...Somehow, writing and blogging has been able to bring a sort of calm and peace to my already complex human character=P. Oh and the street lamps have just turned on like beacons of light to show the way of life in darkness...lol...ok it seems quite weird of me to phrase it like that..haha. Just going with the flow of the train of thoughts in my mind.

Oks...now the whole world is crazy and panicky over the fall of major Wall-Streets giants as well as the nationalization of AIG. Hoho...and singaporeans getting scared about AIA( which is a subsidiary of AIG) is going to fall...Of course my heart goes out to the peeps whoa being retrenched due to the collapse of Lehmahn Bank as well as the possible lay off about 60,000 employees of Merril Lynch. However, from this so-called major financial catastrophe..oks...its quite major...some how I found it to be a very interesting case study to learn about it and how when regulations goes wrong and greed sets in, the whole foundations of a financial sector can be shaken. There had been a couple of detractors especially in USA about Mr Paulson decision to use public funds to save the various companyies involved, but given the similar position in Japan during the early 1990s, USA cannot afford to not use public funds to save it. There can be major repercussions in the global economy should AIG fall for example...anw from what I had read in the papers, its not really a total write down of money but the companies had to repay the government in a given time period. Anw I think the main question will be see what the federal reserve and the government is going to handle this situation in the upcoming weeks and how long the US economy is going to be bearish. According to my fren's fren who had done tons of research into the history as well as techicals of the sector, he predicted a whooping 10 year bear run!!! which is like..woah..damn long..anw now this situation as cause a huge influx of Asian investments in the USA. How ironic that now in a way Asians are saving the western economy whereas there are still some ra**** issues going on in the land of capitalism=p

A missing puzzle

Similarly like the movie 'Mamma Mia', have you ever felt that there is something that is missing in your life? Like a jigsaw puzzle that is lacking a few pieces here and there...something that u cannot pin-point out now?. Well that feeling just sort of came back today....I had it previously..somehow there is always this feeling that I am lacking something and no..its not something material lah. Feels that my life is kinda boring..and stuff like that...as well as a clearer picture of what I want to do in the future.

Was waiting for Sam. when I thought of this...Dunno whether its the feeling that I want to just explore the world and leave everything I know behind here...I have always dream of flying to places with the huge land spaces..the day when I can look out of the window or maybe even tentage=P and see hills roll over one another...to see the flowers that paints the rolling hills..to see the stars that covers the entire dark blue sky overheads..to hear the river rushing down over rocks...maybe its my mind desires for the intimacy with nature again...and yeah I at times feel quite sick and tired of the city-life here. Ever since I went to Blue Mountains in Sydney, I began to fall in love with nature and the huge and significant mark it has left on me. Will I be able to own a lake-house or a tree-top house in the mountains ?? To have a vacation home close to nature...haha that would be like a dream. If u ask me between earning big bucks in office buildings, or managing a B&B homestay close to nature and living quite primitively...I would choose the homestay any time.

Do u all know smthg? I used to write stories when I was younger..well not exactly fiction though..I am not tht gd sia!=P...usually its more of like a kind of experience that I had and I tried to translate into a story. Well...I tried a romance type once....it never made it past the 1st chapter...haha. There is this one draft that I finished before...its more of a travelog or auto-biography??..haha its my 1st trip to melbourne back in 1997. It had 13 chapters..I lost the hard copy already=(....I spent 2 months of my school holidays to completer it..xiong to the max! Somehow I like writing or creating stories or giving my views on stuff...thats why I awalys like to write essays to a certain extent...and my GP teacher always says that I had interesting content the only problem...was mis-interpretation of the question or the structure was wrong...lol...Since young, I had always priced Content to be more important than anything else, be it essay structure or grammer..haha...thats why language marks always so little=P. Maybe thats why till to this day..whenever I am feeling emo. or stuff, I tend to write it all down and re-read all over again and stuff like that. Haha...that may be the reason why I blogged as well=D...

I used to take a personality test...and they somehow or rather points out that I am a bit of a dreamer-type of person=P...lol...maybe thats why sometimes I tend to zone out...cuz lost in my dream world!!...haha...Maybe thats also proves why I always think a lot about stuffs...haha

Oh another notion just zipped through my mind a second ago...it might be that like in movies the plot seems to be so simple, so..eh..happily ever after like. So I always want to strived for that sort of gan jue so I always feels like something is missing!=P

Whew! long entry to the max!!..haha told ya that I had the feeling of writing..oops..I meant blogging...lol...just the notion of letting it all out of my 24/7 'think-a -lot' mind=P

MAMMA MIA(2008)

Well well...so it seems that retro is truly back in the house man!!!..lol...AbbA songs which are my parents time of music was used here in this musical/movie. The plot is Sophie, is going to get married and she found a diary that her mum wrote, and realised that there were 3 possible guys whom could be her father. So in order to know the truth, she invited all 3 guys to her wedding! And all hell or rather fun broke loose on the idyllic greek island.

Ok..my 1st opinion of the movie was like...middle-aged women having a ball of time and the humour comes from the self-depreciating women. However, underneath it all its about knowing what you really wants and stuff. In this movie, Meryl Streep was the lead and she was like everywhere, prancing around and jumping here and there like a youngster. Can see that she was having a ball of a time acting in this movie.

Another thing I watched this movie was because the 1st few songs that I ever listened to were AbbA songs so its like..u know..nostalgic man...ahaha. Songs like 'winner takes it all', 'Dancing Queen','Mamma Mia' and 'Waterloo'...its was great fun just humming to the tune of it...Like wad zhenni puts it' Recommend for anyone who needs Music Therapy'...lol

The Lake House(2006)

The Lake House(2006)

Well...it has been kinda late...lol...yeah 2 years in the waiting as well=P. Anw this show that aired in 2006 is a remake of the korean show, Il Mare...which is also the same storyline that is. The show is about a guy(keanu reeves) who moves in to a house on the lake which was desgned and built by his father. He open the letter box to receive a letter whom was the previous owner of the property. However the catch here is the previous owner(sandra bullock) is 2 years from the future. So they began communicating with each other thru the mail-box outside the lake house. And love develops and how eventually they will get together.

To me, this movie..hmm....how to put it...seems very soothing...maybe its because of the wonderful scenery where the lake house is situated or maybe the pure and simple love between the 2 leads and how it is able to transcends time. Its those movies that seemed so perfect..so ideal...so well impossible to happen in real life.Well who knows there is such a thing..after no. 15th fact of myself...lol..so ya why not?=P. Imagine that the person that you are truly meant to be was like 2 years before or after your time...its seems so ...surreal..so impossible...wah...I dont think I could even live myself in such a fantasy man! But than again how I wish I could be in such a situation man!!...haha

New Look

Oks folks this is not exactly what i had in mind..but so far found it to be quite nice and simple lor...actually wanted to find the blue sola(sky in jap.)...but apparently there is very little to choose from and some actually sucks...though there are many night skies lor...lol...people prefer the dark or rather emo. stuff..lol...so hopefully its not bad lor....anw its quite pleasing to the eye i think...haha cuz its black and all i think...maybe my next skin should be more brighter lor...lol...well added some new stuff by the sides...change my profiles leh..hehe*tongue in cheek*...Enjoy reading then...oh and give some comments..esp. the profile part..I take damn long can!!!somemore I am not an IT person...haha

Somehow felt like want to write an emo. entry=P..must be write too much of it le thts why got this sort of feeling..lol...haha i am an EMO FREAK!!!! anw finished watching Ouran le...kinda sad cuz its like its ENDED!!!!...oh man...sobs sobs...lol...actually though the show is a shou-jo anime...which meant for girls the lah...but surprisingly its fantastic!! not too random and not too complicated but with bits of the various character's life that is intriguing and want to keep the viewer wanting more...haha

The show also touches on many things like everyone has a past behind them or many do not know what they are doing in life or some have personality problems since young and thats why they are like that. It also shows some business sense as well such as the characters knowing how to bao zhuang themselves to be appealling to the various numbers of girls out there. it also shows that an idiot can also run a club together because of how he treat his club members and the wonderful and accurate ability to observe and know a person well.

Earths...

Everyone know thats there is only one earth. However, in actual fact, there are many many numerous earths that are existing, that are alive at any given point of time. The earth that I am saying here is the world that each individual of us sees...on scientific terms I of course cannot say that there is another earth out there could I=P not qualified enough!!....but there might be!! who knows?!..on a philosophical view, yes there are many earths.

There is this saying " What I see may not necessarily be what you are viewing". This is a classic saying as we all knows and it truly epitomizes the notion of many earths in each and every one of us. In each of this earth, the time that revolves it, the conditions of the earths are all different, due to some mystical forces that are yet unknown to man have altered the landscape. However there are instances of some earths being the same. So when one tries to jump into the another earth, there will be sufferings at 1st as the various conditions sets in, the view of this earth in space may seems beautiful but the conditions below may not. And hence if ur body can handle it, u may live in it but it will take some time. However, some may not live to see another day and retreat.

Ok...maybe it seems a weird comparisons...lol...wrong word i think..aiyah but anyway trying to improve my ang moh!!! sorry meant english=$ An example is the earth that I see is not truly the earth that u will see...maybe in space it might appear the same but once u have entered the atmosphere,it is most probably different as conditions are different. The conditions that defined various earths can be events and expereiences that others never had or haven't had. let says that a particular earth had advanced a long way than others, it will tend to try to influence other worlds to try to link up with the rest. But most of time this advanced earths may not be able to understand this..ehto...luo hoh the earth and assume that their certain way of life is the right way but due to different conditions it is not. ok i think the more i think the more analogies are coming up=P...in a nutshell, understand the other earth's culture and people within, communicate with the population, do not expect them to follow ur way, dont impose ur laws on other worlds...and we will see less wars. Sadly, instincts and emotions usually dont make this happen.

Stars...

Watched a few space movies recently, from space chimps to Star wars to wall.E and it got me thinking about space and beyond.

Everyday walking at night, out in the field during field camp, sleeping in the blue mountains in Sydney. The night sky never fails to amaze me, the stars seems to be everywhere, it makes us humans feel that we are so so small...the feeling of the wonderful lights in the dark sky...appreciating the ability to take in the wonderful sights. the stars...always seems so magical,so enchanting...always so up there in the sky...impossible to reached to...we,humans on earth spent so much of our time, even from generations to generations of homo sapiens, we continue to study and understand the stars, developed new technology and vehicles(aka space-crafts) to reach to them...but sometimes never able to reach them( be it to far or various space-weather conditions). Even in times of war and illness, the stars never fail to fascinate mankind, no time to learn about them, mankind will still find ways to preserve them in his memory with inventions as well as to keep in 'touch' with them(ie. the giant hubble telescope in the USA). Somehow no matter how much time and effort that we put into understanding and learning about them, our knowledge is just only a speck of space dust in the entire universe out there. We are down here on earth and these cosmos are up up there out of this world, the difficulty lies here to understanding these stars. However, given the strong will and in a way defiance if i may put it, mankind will never give up on his search for the knowledge and understanding of the stars. There had been many who had suffer a lot in the search for it, and scientists whom had met up with financial problems or wadsoever had given up on it, but there are some whom will be able to make it...to find more pieces to fix the puzzle. Maybe we will reach the echleon of hyperspace=)
The laws of the Universe

1) Every small little component has a role to play to meet the goal.

If u look carefully, in everything that is existent in this world, from the smallest microrganism to the wonderful engineering marvels of the time, the Bird Nest in bei jing to even..yes....our very own Singapore flyer. this law applies as well and..now this...strange but true as well even to humans and their emotions as well as ties between humans. Every component plays a part. Lets look at the Flyer's amphitheatre, there it is made up of 2 different arcs. If u had noticed, there are many bolts or nuts that maintain the shape of the arc. The bolts or nuts are almost similar in every way from the diameter to the width of it, however similar they are, but each of them are differnt. In wad way u may ask, its the unseen that they are different. Each bolt are subjected to different forces of energy and the net force acting on it are different in magnitude. Hence,as u can see, the bolts though similar but are different in their roles to maintain the arc, which is their goal.

2)Cause and effect

For some who have study physics, the newton's law states that for every force there will be an equal and opposite force acting on an object(if i m not wrong=P)...this is also very thru in life and stuff...haha so who says that sometimes physics cannot be applied in the real world=). take back my words that I always say to my frenz and teachers=P..my bad!

If u think about it, many laws that were created, or rather derived in this world. It all seems to link back to the laws of the universe, and there are many more that are waiting to be found. Strangely that sometimes the answers could be so easily found in nature, the answers were there all along but given the complexity of the human mind and as well as fate, many of us just passed them. If learning the ways of life or universe was an exam, I would say that our surroundings are our refrence book, the problem with passing this exam is finding the right answer out of this very very thick reference book and apply to the question.
